North County
North County Coastal is a strand of small-town, picturesque communities dotting the Pacific shoreline between Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base and Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. This area is known for having some of the region’s most popular beaches, especially for surfers, and being a haven for all sorts of outdoor activities such as golfing, hiking, fishing, kayaking and standup paddle boarding, biking, horseback riding and whale watching. Downtown San Diego is a short 15-30 minute drive from any community, and area attractions include exquisite parks and golf courses, museums, Legoland California, Sea Life Aquarium, the Flower Fields at Carlsbad and the San Diego Botanic Gardens.
