SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular, Sept. 21-Oct. 27 | San Diego

Fall fun at SeaWorld returns with a clowny sea lion and otter show, costume dance party, a festive Sesame Street-themed parade, and the safe-for-everyone trick-or-treating. Plus, the all-new Gall Festival at the Waterfront is open featuring a hay maze, games, and treats for all. One child (aged 3 to 9) gets free admission with one full-priced adult admission.

LEGOLAND Brick-or-Treat, Sept. 28-Oct. 26

This is a fun-for-the-whole-family event. It includes live entertainment, character meet-and-greets, a costume contest, trick-or-treating, an AstroBash Dance Party, and more!

Pumpkin Express, Oct. 5-27 | Campo & La Mesa
Join the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum Association in the Pumpkin Express Halloween Celebration. It’s complete with a train ride, pumpkin patch, and more.

Haunted Tales, Oct. 19 and 26 | Star of India, Downtown San Diego
Aspiring ghosts, goblins, pirates, and princesses are invited to the Star of India for some ghostly tales. Storytellers will reveal the eerie legends of San Diego’s seafaring past.

Trick-or-Treat on India Street, Oct. 25 | Little Italy

This fun and safe Halloween event – now in its 12th year! – makes it possible for urban families to enjoy authentic trick-or-treating fun. Little Italy businesses along historic India Street open their doors to give out candy and Halloween treats.

Haunted Aquarium: Sea Monster Mash, Oct. 25-26 | Scripps Aquarium

At the Haunted Aquarium, discover a sea of glowing beasts, get sticky with slime, and enjoy shipwrecked stories. This is all while boo-gy-ing down to live music and having a monstrous good time.

Balboa Park Halloween Family Day, Oct. 26 | San Diego

San Diego’s Balboa Park and its museums are treating families to a free Halloween Family Day. It includes a spooky array of hands-on activities and other free goodies.

The Disturbance by The Haunted Hotel, Oct. 4-Nov. 2 | Mission Valley

From the city’s longest-running haunted house, this all-new “Haunt Collective” features three haunted attractions in one new location – with free parking. For thrill-seekers watching their budget, $5-off coupons are available at Goodwill stores countywide. 

The Haunted Trail, Sept. 27-Nov. 2 | Balboa Park

The Scream Zone, Sept. 27-Nov. 2 | Del Mar
This is San Diego County’s largest haunted experience. It’s also considered one of Southern California’s scariest and goriest. In addition to the scream-tastic haunted experience, guests will enjoy food vendors, photo opps, and the Spirit Lounge bar. Visit the website for discounts.

Adults Only Halloween Events

Hallo-wine $ Spirits, Oct. 26 | Coronado

San Diego’s famous haunted hotel invites you to don your best costume for a “Night of 1,000 Clowns”. It’s an adults-only evening of eating, drinking, and dancing.

Monster Bash, Oct. 26 | Gaslamp

San Diego’s most WCKD Halloween festival returns. The streets of the Gaslamp Quarter will transform as the WCKD Village comes to life. There will be with entertainment, spooky experiences, and more!
