Whitney Benzian practices real estate at Willis Allen Real Estate in Coronado, California, his hometown. He brings a background in marketing, land-use and local government to his practice.

Over the years, Whitney has been involved with a number of community and business organizations. In 2005, he re-established the Coronado Active 20-30 Club, a civic service club for young adults. A few years ago he jumped off the board of the Coronado Historical Association where he served as President for 3 of his 4 years. In that role, he also sat on the city committee that helped set up the Coronado Tourism Improvement District.

Now he serves on the Membership Committee of the Coronado Yacht Club and as a Director of the Board for the Coronado Island Film Festival.

Over the bridge, Whitney is a Director of the Downtown San Diego Partnership where he serves on the Quality of Life Committee that focuses on homelessness issues. He also serves on the Public Policy Committee of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The San Diego News Network named him a “35 Under 35” local leader in 2010. The Water Education Foundation selected him to their California Water Leaders Program.

Whitney is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College where he received his B.A. in Liberal Arts. He received his Master's in Public Policy from Pepperdine University.

He is married to January Machold Benzian and has two little girls, Emma and Annie. He loves to travel, play tennis and basketball, bike ride and surf.

Jake Benzian practices real estate at Willis Allen Real Estate in Coronado, California, his hometown.

Jake is a Coronado High alum who graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.A. in English Literature. During his time at Washington and Lee he developed a passion for the outdoors which led him to take a paralegal position with a Jackson Hole law firm specializing in real estate disputes.

After a few years he accepted a position as an analyst with a southern California-based real estate investment company. While working for EMPAC Capital, Jake was responsible for underwriting investment properties, preparing investor distributions and statements, and acted as a transaction coordinator for the principals of the company. Jake enjoyed this work, however, when his brother encouraged him to join his real estate practice at Willis Allen the allure of teaming up and building a family business was too enticing to pass up.

Jake enjoys spending his free time hiking, skiing, and surfing, with a little golf thrown in on the side. In the fall, most of his weekends are spent remaining a devoted fan of the San Diego Chargers.
