I have 29+ years experience in the Real Estate industry as a REALTOR® in Nebraska (1982-1993) Nevada (1993-1997) & California (2006-Present) with expertise in Residential, Commercial & Industrial Sales & Leasing. I also have 10 years of past experience as a Banker & Broker of Residential & Commercial Mortgage Loans (2001-2011) and had attained a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist® (CMPS®) Designation in 2007. Although I no longer originate loans, I am very much in touch with the lending community and know how and where to place competitive loans with other competent lending professionals for my clienteles' best interest.
I have represented developers and builders in the acquisition of land and subsequent sales of custom homes. Alternatively I have represented custom home buyers in their acquisition of individual lots, developed, plans, specifications and secured financing after having the proposed home appraised and finally had contractors compete favorably for my buyers' business. It ultimately assisted my buyers' in achieving a very competitive final construction agreement with the builder they preferred.
I also have several years of financial planning experience. In 1976 I originally worked for Pacific Consulting Corporation, a subsidiary of Pacific Mutual Life insurance Company, now Pacific Life, doing estate and business planning for individuals, partnerships and corporations. In conjunction with tax and legal professionals I have assisted my clients' with planning strategies to save taxes and reduce risk thereby greater securing their financial security. We dealt with trusts, wills, corporate, profit sharing, IRA, Pensions & 401ks plans integrating tax favored insurance contracts. I have sold property & casualty insurances in both personal and commercial lines of insurance as well.
An overriding consideration for prudent people today is not only the need for competent professional advisors, to develop a plan, but to consistently review those plans so they coincide with their own goals and keep abreast of the constantly changing tax laws and financial markets.
