I was raised in Grosse Pointe Michigan and educated and the University of Detroit. I moved to Rancho Santa Fe in 1981 where I later met my husband
.
We have been philanthropically involved with Scripps Stevens Cancer Center, Scripps Hospital, Childrens' Hospital, San Diego Zoo, San Diego Opera, Salvation Army, The Olde Globe, Patrons of the Prado and the San Diego Alzheimer's Association. I have heald Board Positions for Salvation Army, Patrons of the Prado and Alzheimer's association.
One of my proudest achievements occurrred in 1995. I worked with three friends, all breast cancer survivors, and we founded the San Diego Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
